DAP's accelerator is enabled by default thus accelerating the download process. However you may occasionally want to disable it in order to download unconfigured file types.

1. In DAP's main window, select the Options menu and choose Preferences. The preferences window appears.
2. Choose the General option from the Configuration tree, to display the General configuration window.
3. Select Show Regular/Accelerator option.

NOTE: If you have enabled this option, the "Choose download method" dialog will appear before starting a download. Choose Accelerator to enable the program and show the Download File Info dialog; otherwise choose Regular.
