Using DAP
Continue to download as you always do – DAP is ready to provide you with the fastest and easiest download experience!
DAP’s ‘Start Download’ window has replaced the regular ‘file download’ windows in your browser and from now on, will manage your downloads with speed, efficiency and added security by ZoneAlarm. You can open the connections area (with the little arrow under the progress bar) to view or hide information about the different download sources for this file. ‘Start Download’ will start downloading your file at the fastest speed possible. DAP’s ‘tabbed downloading’ feature will keep multiple downloads under one window. You can move between these tabs to view the progress of each download.
A great part of the download acceleration gained by using DAP is that it breaks up a file into a number of smaller chunks. Each chunk represents a download connection to the fastest download sources available. Downloading with 4 or more connections maximizes your bandwidth and ensures you get the fastest download speed possible.
DAP uses advanced auto-trigger to download the files you want while browsing the internet.
If you want DAP to download a file that it wouldn't normally auto-trigger, or you want to use DAP only for specific downloads, simply right click the link to that file and choose ‘Download with DAP’ from the menu.
DAP’s main window is the management area. The ‘Downloads’ tab shows all your active downloads, their status and the progress of each file.

shows all the files that have finished downloading. The ‘Downloads’ and ‘Completed Downloads’ tab offers many sorting and filtering options to help you view and reach the files you want. To instantly open or run any of the files listed in the ‘Completed Downloads’ tab, double click on the file name.

On the right pane of the main window, you can find additional information on each file, as well as post and read reviews on the file you are downloading at FileRatings.com. You can summon the Main window anytime by double clicking the small DAP tray icon on the taskbar.DAP’s Resume Broken Downloads option lets you continue downloading a file that has been broken from the point you left off. Just select a paused or broken file in the downloads tab in DAP’s main window and click Resume!

Once you’ve installed DAP, it will manage all your downloads and speed things up when it is in ‘Enabled’ mode, which is set by default. To disable DAP and download without the assistance of DAP acceleration, right click on your desktop taskbar and select ‘Disable downloads by DAP – Acceleration off’.
