DAP's innovative subscription service allows users to subscribe to predefined channels and receive periodic updates of music files, games, video files, trailers, and software applications that SpeedBit's partners may offer from time to time.

A ready-to-use platform for online delivery of rich media content

With the new subscription service, DAP's client-side presence on a vast number of users' desktops is now equipped to establish a viable online subscription service. It offers owners of content such as software and game publishers, record companies, and film and video studios the dual advantages of not needing to develop such an application from scratch and being able to reach such a large user base with it already installed.

Smooth user experience The new subscription service incorporates a smooth user experience: once the user has subscribed to the channel, the new item (song, movie, software, game, etc.) will be sent directly to his or her PC according to the user's schedule preferences with no user intervention required.

Enter the Subscription Options under the 'Options/Configurations'

On the left pane choose Subscription.
Click the 'Add' button on the right pane, the subscription page will open.

On the subscription page you will find more info regarding the available channels
and you will be able to select your channel subscription preferences.

Upon choosing a channel the subscription
wizard will pop up with a short description
of the chosen channel.
If you want to subscribe to this channel
click 'Next'. Otherwise click 'Cancel' or 'Back'
to choose another channel.

You may configure your scheduling
preferences to receive updates.
The default setting is the frequency
specified by the provider
(which may be at least once per day).
You can choose a specific day and hour
and the delivery frequency
(once per day, once per week and so on).

Click 'Next' to proceed.

You can save the content of the channel
in a specific folder, using DAP's default
download folder or creating one of your own.

To check the channel for new content,
select the 'Check for subscription
content now' button and click 'Finish'.
Otherwise DAP will check at the times
indicated by your scheduling preferences
(provided this feature is active on your PC
and an Internet connection is available)

If and when new content is found, DAP
will open the 'New Content' window and
display a description of the available
update. Click 'OK' to start downloading
immediately or 'Cancel' to add it to DAP's
queue for later downloading. After 2 minutes
DAP will automatically begin to download
the content.

To manage your subscriptions choose
'Subscription' from the left pane of DAP's 'Options/Configurations'. Here you can add,
remove, see more info or check a certain
channel for new content manually (bypassing
the scheduling settings you chose).
