Scanning for Known Viruses

You may scan selected downloaded files for known viruses and clean the files. The option can only be enabled if an existing anti virus program is associated with the Download Accelerator.

To associate an anti virus program with the Accelerator:

  1. In the Accelerator Main window, click Downloads and choose Options/Configurations.

  2. Choose General. The General dialog appears.

  3. Verify that Virus Checking is enabled and click the Find button to associate the desired anti virus program with the Accelerator,To do so browse to find the exe file of that Anti-Virus program (ie:nav.exe) ,and click Close.

    To scan selected files:

    In the Accelerator Main window, select the files to be scanned and click the Virus Scan button.

    NOTE: The Anti Virus repairs the files which have been found to be infected.
