Changing User Agent

Some websites block DAP and other download managers. You may change the way DAP is recognized by those websites, simply by changing the 'User Agent'.

  1. In DAP's main window, select the 'Tools' menu and choose 'Options'. DAP's configuration page will appear.
  2. On the configuration page, choose 'Connection' to display the 'Connection' options.
  3. From the 'User Agent' drop-down menu, select one of the 'User Agents' you wish DAP to be recognized as.
  4. Click 'Close'
