Integrating Anti-Virus into DAP

You may select files that have been downloaded and scan them - inoculating, fixing or quarantining them, depending on results of the virus scan. The option can only be enabled if an existing anti-virus program is associated with DAP.

How to associate an anti-virus program with DAP:

1. In DAP's main window, select the 'Tools' menu and click on 'Options'. The DAP 'Configuration' window will open.
2. Choose 'Download Completion' from DAP's 'Configuration' menu and the 'Download Completion' dialog box will appear.
3. Check the 'Check for viruses' box to Verify that Virus Checking is enabled and click the 'Browse' button (to find your anti-virus' .exe file: i.e. nav.exe) thus, to associate the desired anti-virus program with DAP. Select the virus program you wish to and click 'Close'.
