Changing User Agent

Some websites block DAP and other download managers. You may change the way DAP is recognized by those websites, simply by changing the User Agent.

  1. In DAP's main window, select the Tools menu and choose Options. DAP's configuration page appears.
  2. In the configuration page, choose Connection to display the Connection options.
  3. From the User Agent drop-down menu, select the User Agent you wish DAP to be recognized as.
  4. Click Close
