Nick Normile, founder of ‘Foodie at Fifteen’ is coming to Dinner!
In February of 2008, Nick started foodieatfifteen.blogspot.com when he was, surprisingly, 15. He is now 18, graduating from college and on his way to Wharton in the fall. For five years, he worked for the Philadelphia restaurant Lacroix at the Rittenhouse, making his love for cooking not strictly home tested. We are excited to have Nick as out guest today! Check out Nick’s site here: comparefoodpics.com

How to cook
the perfect steak? Fast!
Slow cooking has its place, but sometimes I’m ready to grub and I want food NOW. In that case, skip the
unnecessary stuff like saut?ing garlic in oil. That’s only so you can feel like a pro. If you’re making steak, crank your burner to high, sear it for five minutes, flipping repeatedly (better way to conduct heat into the steak and cook it faster), then serve. I guess if you’re like me and wanna demonstrate your inner food snobbery without going overboard, eat the steak with stone-ground mustard.
What is your favorite fast song to belt out when dancing?
What is the one thing you’d like to speed up in your life?
The time it takes waiting for a fresh baked cheesecake to cool in the fridge. And the time it takes for me to finish my workout. And the time it takes to learn computer coding. And the time it takes for me to improve my golf swing. Should I stop now?
What most irritates you when you have to wait?
Slow drivers. I’m a speed demon.
What are your top three websites you can’t live without?
What happened this past week, you’re are most thankful for?
I found out that I’ll be cooking a dinner party for my boss and his wife and 3 other couples.
Thanks Nick & have a great Weekend everyone!
Who would have thought I’d find my next cooking idea from Speedbit! Thanks for the sites, very helpful, just like your apps, which, by the way, I can’t live without anymore.
Always interesting read here! Love the variety. But I’m not surprised since speedbit programs lets you download and stream anything you want.
Haha! Instant steak done right! All the right speedtips are here! Not surprisingly, they did make the right software to speed things up on the internet!
