Spanish (Mexico) Translation (Español) - Testing Stage
Be the first to test DAP in Spanish (Mexico)!
Congratulations everyone for the quick translation!
So lets do some testing and see how your translation looks on DAP!!!
Please follow these instructions:
- Make sure you are using the latest version of DAP.
- Download the .lng file below and save it under: c:\Program Files\DAP\LocalesU.
Vista Users: You may need to save the file on your Desktop before copying it to c:\Program Files\DAP\LocalesU.
- Restart DAP
- Click the Language menu and select Spanish (Mexico).
- You are now ready to test your DAP in Spanish (Mexico). Please watch out for text cut off,overflowing and so on.
- You can fix/correct the translation on the Spanish (Mexico) translation templates: Section 1 and Section 2

I have found THREE bugs on translation.
They are not translator related. They are unavailable text for translation related.
First bug is word Language on main menu, between Tools and FTP in main GUI. It should be translated as “Idioma”.
Second bug is all FTP menu tree not translated, in main GUI. It is not available for translation on sections 1 or 2.
Third bug, there is one box missing:
On:
Spanish Translation (Español México) - Section 2
Dialogue Window ID: 1031 Options → Connection….. (Fourth box from top of page.)
ID20285 Bandwidth Control is translated as Control de ancho de banda.
Until there all is fine.
This option of the menu leads to a different menu, unavailable translation box, that on the current 100% spanish testing version is still in english. This menu is:
Limited bandwidth Cooperative bandwidth Unlimited bandwidth
I have deeply searched for this description box on Sections 1 and 2, but there is no box to translate this dialogs.

I have shortened the expressions to fit the available space where they are placed.
I hope this info is helpful to improve translation system.
I believe this corrections are extensive to ALL languages.
