Integrating Antivirus into DAP
You may select files that have been downloaded and scan them - inoculating, fixing or quarantining them, depending on results of the virus scan. This option can only be enabled if an existing anti-virus program is associated with DAP.
How to associate an anti-virus program with DAP:
- In DAP's main window, click the Tools menu and click Options. The DAP Options window appears.
- Choose Download Preferences, and the Download Preferences dialog box appears.
- Select the Check for viruses option to verify that Virus Checking is enabled and click the Browse button to find your anti-virus program. Select the virus program you wish to use and click Close.
